Hello! My name is Anjana (Jia). I am a cheerful, compassionate, and tenacious pre-school teacher with over 5 years of experience caring for ages 1-13 years. I teach at a montessori/ play based style preschool and have a passion for early childhood education and development. I am C.P.R + first aid certified. My care philosophy centers with around a growth mindset. I am located on the West Side of Santa Cruz but I’m happy to work anywhere from Boulder Creek to Watsonville. My rate is $20/hr for 1 child +$2 per additional child. I am available 3 days a week of your choice. I am looking for a regular long term position, although I am available for temporary work July 1st-July 12th while my school is on break. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I Read more love implementing crafts, activity/learning games , creative play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may encounter. In my personal time I love to explore nature, spend time with family, listen to music, and cuddle my cat.
