Evelyn is absolutely wonderful! She stepped in to watch our 8 week old for an evening and did an excellent job. As a FTM, I was so nervous to leave my little guy for the first time, but I immediately felt confident after speaking with her on the phone prior to our night out. Evelyn has a lot of experience with newborns (much more than me!), so we came home to a happy and healthy babe. She is responsive and communicative. We received updates while we were out. Would love to hire her again for our next outing and highly recommend!

I hired Ms Evelyn to watched my 13 month old son, two nieces and nephew. Before arriving, She was super responsive,prompt and accommodating. The kids absolutely loved her. I don’t know how she was able to but a baby, 3 year old, a 4 year old and 8 years to bed for a nap around the same time but she did. She was super engaging, and send updates of how the kids were doing. I felt super comfortable leaving her with my children. The qualities I was looking for was someone who is realizable, sweet and caring but stern and that was exactly what I found in Evelyn. Loved working with her so much that my husband and I decided to hire her to watch our child on a weekly bases. A+ service!

Evelyn has been wonderful with our 6-year old and has provided very consistent and routine care that has been so helpful to our family. Evelyn was the perfect choice to take care of our 5 month old on date night. We were nervous - it was our first time using Sittercity! But, Evelyn took care of that. In our pre-sitting communications, Evelyn was proactive, direct, and productive. She asked us questions we hadn't thought about, and she knew to cover all of the appropriate bases about our baby, her health, and preferences. When the night arrived, Evelyn arrived early, was eager to interact with the baby, was professional with us as we hurried out to date night, and wanted to learn what she could do to make the baby - and our - night better. At the end of the night, Evelyn graciously and patiently described how the night went, and was more than worth her fee. What a great first experience!

Evelyn did a wonderful job of helping to set a routine and establish good sleeping habits with our kids. The 16 month old wasn't sleeping through the night but after a week of Evelyn's sleep training she was getting a solid 10+ hours of uninterrupted sleep. She loves kids but is firm when it comes to bed time and the need for them to break any bad habits related to stretching bedtime out for hours. She did great work for us and worked her hours around our needs as schedules shifted. She worked all night in some instances and just in evenings when the all night support wasn't required. Strongly recommend Evelyn for your childcare needs!

Evelyn is an extremely reliable and dedicated babysitter. She watched our 17-month son twice and she was on time and ready to take charge. She's very loving and also has a great sense of discipline, something our boy benefited from. She's someone I would highly recommend.

My family was a little concerned about finding a sitter online, but my baby daughter LOVED Evelyn... after a weekend of day care, my daughter was well cared for and very happy. Evelyn is very professional, on time, cleans, completed my baby's laundry and was very knowledgable about daily care and monthly milestones. She took my daughter for a walk each day and I barely heard my daughter cry. She's well worth the pay!! Thank you again!! :-)

Evelyn did an excellent job with my daughter for a two-week job providing gap care for school. She was prompt and kept in touch with us about the schedule, and my daughter loved having her! It was definitely a stress reliever to have her in our house, and I would recommend her to anyone.

Evelyn babysat for my 10 year old son several times during the Christmas holiday season. As my son has multiple disabilities and medical needs, I am particularly sensitive about the people I hire to assist me. Evelyn has watched my infant son 3 times in the past few months. She is hard working, professional,polite and friendly. She took great care of my son. Made sure that he had his feeds on time, that his diaper stayed dry, that he had tummy time, play time, bath time and assisted in light house hold chores. I highly recommend her, as she is excellent!

Evelyn looked after my 11 month old during a business trip to DC. She was pleasant, reliable, trust worthy and punctual. Her care for the baby was satisfactory (feeding, changing, napping) and she wrote a daily log which was very helpful.
