Hello, My name is Journie. I am in College getting a degree in Child Education for teaching. With a deep passion for nurturing children’s growth and creativity, I bring both experience and a caring, patient approach to childcare. I am a certified professional with CPR and First Aid training, as well as certifications in Safe Sleep for Infants and Foundations for Learning (FFL). My background also includes a Childcare Background Record (CBR) clearance, ensuring that I meet the highest standards of safety and care. Whether I’m providing fun, educational activities, helping with schoolwork, or offering a comforting presence, I make sure each child feels safe, valued, and supported. My experience includes working with children/adults with disabilities, babysitting for friends, and coworkers, as well as working in a daycare setting last summer (2024), and I am dedicated to adapting my approach to meet each child’s unique needs and interests.
