I’ve gained a lot of hands-on childcare experience over the years. I’ve worked as a nanny for multiple families, caring for children from infants to school-age, and always focused on creating a safe, fun, and educational environment. I worked to build routines and tailor activities to each child’s individual needs. I have also worked at a preschool, supporting early childhood education and guiding kids through various learning activities. In addition, I studied elementary education for three years, giving me the opportunity to work with children across all age groups—from toddlers to older elementary students—and deepening my understanding of their developmental needs and how to best support their learning. I recently graduated from college and, with a bit of free time before moving back to Des Moines, I’m looking for a part-time babysitting or nanny position.
