Hello, my name is Skylar! I currently work as a resource para for Bethel School District. I am available after 4pm weekdays and every other weekend, for occasional caregiving or as a backup. I am located in Graham, willing to travel as needed. I’m looking to receive at least $25/hour. I recently returned to Washington after spending six years in Florida. During my high school and college years, I provided babysitting services for multiple families. From 2015 to 2017, I worked as a live-in, overnight caregiver for a woman with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. In 2021, I resumed my work with children with disabilities as a camp counselor. Over the past four summers, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of children who have diverse needs. Additionally, I have served as an elementary special education paraprofessional for the past three school years. I have experience with autism, Read more ADHD, and Down syndrome, among other disabilities. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and have experience with seizure response, transfers, feeding tubes, and AAC devices. I am also working on obtaining my RBT certification. My ultimate career goal is to become a live-in caregiver for a child with significant special needs, offering respite and support to families in need. I am passionate about helping children reach their full potential and am eager to continue learning in this field. I am also DDA/ CDWA approved!
