Caring for children comes naturally to me. I am a mother of 1 son and have enjoyed associating with children for all of my adult life. I currently work as a nanny/family assistant, caring for three boys. I have been with this family for nearly 6.5 years! I have also worked with a special needs child. In the past, I have worked as a librarian at an elementary school, which brought together my 2 great loves- children and books! I volunteered for many years at my son's elementary school, teaching different concepts to small groups of children from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I was an after school mentor/caregiver for elementary school-aged children. I completed a teacher aide on-line program for which I have a certificate. Currently I am enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes at through an on-line college program.
