Hello my name is Katie! I have based my life around caring for children and nurturing their development. I believe that childhood is such a special time of life, and I am committed to providing a safe and loving environment for all children to explore and grow in. Starting in high school, I consistently nannied for a family of one child. After high school, I decided to dedicate my life to studying child development by majoring in Middle Childhood Education in college. While attending university, I began caring for a newborn, and 3 years later, I continued to care for the same child and their newborn baby sister. I graduated college in 2016, and since then I have providing child care and education in a variety of settings including home care, daycare, and K-12 schools. Currently, I work as a 5th and 6th grade literacy teacher in a public school. Read more I made the decision to take time off to be with my 2 children.
