Hello! I am a fun, caring and energetic babysitter looking for part-time jobs in the valley and LA area! I am currently in graduate school at CSUN getting my degree to become a child therapist. I have a degree in cognitive behavioral neuroscience and clinical psychology from UCSD, where I took many classes on child development and infant brain development. I have 9 years of experience babysitting and nannying, working for families with up to 4 children, and of all ages. I also worked in a daycare at the YMCA, where I gained valuable experience working especially with infants and toddlers. I have volunteer experience at my local elementary school, planning craft activities and supervising outdoor games. I held a part-time teacher position at a daycare for at-risk children who have been subjected to neglect, abuse and drug-use. Through my time at this daycare I have learned critical skills that Read more help me to give the best care to each child based on his or her developmental stage and individual needs. I am extremely passionate about childcare and I believe every child deserves a nurturing and safe environment to grow and learn. Some of my favorite activities with children include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, music and reading! I hope to be a good fit for your family and cater my abilities to your individual needs.
