I am a mother of two children, a boy who is 7, and a girl who is 10. I have always loved children and would love to be a nanny. I come from a big family, and have provided childcare for my sister’s and brother’s children, but have never taken an official job as a nanny before. My sister had my niece when I was 11 and my nephews when I was 15 and 16, and I was her go to baby sitter. I had babysitting jobs all through middle school and high school for my neighbors. While I was a stay at home mother with my daughter, another sister of mine had me nanny her baby along with my daughter until they were at preschool ages. As a mother myself, I know the challenges parents face balancing work and childcare.
