I'm a mother of two beautiful teens. I have direct paid experience working with kids ages 18 months - 14 years old. I currently work part-time at White Pine Programs in York Maine on Thursdays as a Forest Kindergarten teacher with kids 4-6 years old. I have a Montessori substitute teaching certificate. I have subbed at the local public schools, coached sports and Girls in the Rub, and also sub at local preschools. I directed White Pine's summer camp program for kids ages 5-11 years old. Our family raises and trains service dogs and lives on a small farm homestead. Working with little humans runs in our family. My son Dylan is 18 and my daughter Sam is 16 and they also babysit and work as counselors during the summers. I am quite passionate about helping foster empathy and curiosity for the natural world through play.
