Hello! My name is Kristan. Currently I am not working outside the home after 20+ years in Medical Billing. My last 7 years were spent at U of O Health Center and Awbrey Park Elementary School. I have 2 teenage sons, both at Churchill this year and both incredibly independent. They’re with their father every other week so I am able to have more flexibility in my schedule. I can do Snacks and meals as well as housekeeping and laundry, As long as I am aware of your needs and expectations I can blend it into the schedule. If animals are a part of your family, even better ❤️ Just let me know their meal plan and specific needs. Last summer I had the pleasure of caring for a very active 9 year old girl 4 days a week (for about 3hours at a time). Games were played, park visits Read more occurred daily, swimming, scooter rides and lots of snacks to keep us energized! Prior to that I honestly think the most frequent babysitting I’ve done is with my children having their friends over, or helping neighbors with their kiddos, helping my own friends. My boys are 16 months apart, so newborn/toddler/preschool/kindergarten years? It was incredibly busy and I was on my own, no family. So I am capable of juggling lots of activities and always always remaining patient and supportive, loving and kind. I love to read, and I read a lot of parenting books that were invaluable to me. I honestly feel that as I’ve gotten older, I’m more comfortable with kids. Less stressed, calm and able to find the fun and joy in any scenario. Yes, I mean ANY!! 😂
