I am looking for a  part  time summer position, I am flexbile on which days.  I am available the end of June- end of August/begining of Sept. For the past 17  years I have been working as a child care professional. My degree is in education. I worked in a day care setting for 11 years before becoming a nanny. I worked a few years as an infant toddler teacher and also as a preschool teacher. I am currently a nanny. I love being a nanny. I am able to give the children more individual attention and work/communicate with one family. I can still offer all the activities I did when I worked in a daycare center but there is so much more flexibility. We definitely have a routine but it is much more flexible than it would be in center care. I am open to going to local playgrounds and Read more story times. I am able to focus on what the kids love and work on developmental goals. My goal is to work with the family. Discuss what you want for your children, such as schedule and developmental goals. I am very experienced coming up with activities and incorporating learning into everything . I was responsible for planning and implementing curriculum in past positions. I plan curriculum by observing children to find out their interests, areas of strength, and skills to work on. I can be more specific with activities/learning experiences, just let me know if you would like a more detailed description. I have several childcare references. I drive a reliable mini van. I am very reliable.
