I have experience not only raising my own daughter for 95% of her life on my own, but also caring for children from 11 months through 6 years of age. I think that hands on is the best way to care for and teach children. I was always very involved in my daughter’s life which has made it possible for her to be a very successful young adult. She just graduated from UK with her Master’s Degree. I love to do crafts, get down on their level to play with them and love teaching through reading and games. I will take them outside weather permitting and explore and play. I have taken the children I babysit for to the parks, the library, spray park and educational events Covid Permitting of course. Prepared meals and snacks and nap time for those age appropriate still need one.
