Aruna M.

We were in town from Houston and lucky enough to find Aruna through sittercity. Our 9 year old daughter absolutely LOVED her. She is amazing. Instantly connected not only with our daughter, but we felt safe with her as well and were not even concerned. Aruna is a gem! If you are lucky enough to have Aruna with your child or children, you are the lucky one!

Aruna has cared for our son at least two days each week for most of his life. She began working with us when he was a newborn and he is now 4 1/2 months old. Aruna is an excellent resource for a first time parent, we have learned so much from her. Moreover, we trust her implicitly and she is a joy to be around. Our son has developed a very strong bond with her and it is important to note that we have also. She has truly become a part of our family and we feel fortunate to have her in our lives.

Aruna cared for our 5-month-old daughter for a 5-day period while her daycare facility was closed for spring break. Since I work from home, I had the opportunity to closely observe Aruna's style of care. I was very impressed with Aruna's preparation. She arrived each day armed with numerous options of things to do with our daughter, and always with backup plans in case the weather (or our daughter) didn't cooperate. On nice days, Aruna and our daughter went for walks, visited the library downtown, and attended classes at the Bubble Academy. On the cold and rainy days, she made cookies, sang songs, read books, and played with our daughter. I felt as if our daughter was in loving, capable hands whenever she was in Aruna's care. I highly recommend Aruna to any parent looking for a prepared, proactive, inventive and loving caregiver!
