Hi! My name is Bridget and I am a freshman at the University of Vermont studying elementary education, forestry, and place-based education. I love working with kids and have extensive experience in childcare. I was an assistant teacher at a childcare center and preschool for two years. I was involved in the general care of the children as well as planning lessons and activities. This past summer, I was a camp counselor at a nature camp with middle schoolers. We aimed to take kids from urban areas into nature to educate them and help them form connections. I am incredibly passionate about education and think all kids deserve an equitable education. I think that outdoor education is integral and am passionate about educating in natural settings. I have been background checked and fingerprinted in both CT and MA.
