Hello, My name is Lindsey! I just recently moved to the San Diego area (Chula Vista/Eastlake) to be with family and finish my college education. I am currently in my senior year of my Bachelor of Science in Health degree. Once completed, I will then start my 2nd B.S. in Nursing. I have 19 years of paid nanny experience (from non-family members). I can provide professional nanny references, as well as letters of recommendation from each reference. I am registered with CA Health and Human Services Trustline Registry, which requires an FBI Fingerprint background check, a 50 states background check, and a California state background check. I recently obtained eight different certifications through Child Care Aware of America. These certifications include: Healthy Environments, Safe Environments, Learning Environments, Child Abuse Prevention, Child Abuse Identification and Reporting, Safe Sleep Practices, Positive Guidance, and Family Engagement. I also just renewed my CPR/First Aid/AED Read more for Adult/Child/Infant certification, as well. I'm also a very big animal lover, so I'm a huge fan of households with pets! I have worked extensively with children of all ages, from newborns to young teenagers (14yrs. old). I am especially fond of the newborn-18month age range. Everything for them is always so new and fascinating! The curiosity and wonder that lights up their little faces and makes their eyes go big as they discover the world around them is something that I'll never stop being in awe of! My first nanny position was for part-time, after school care(20-30hrs./wk.) for two children, ages 3 yrs. (boy) and 5 yrs. (girl). During school holidays/summer vacations, I would take care of the children full-time and was soon invited to be a live-in nanny. I cared for these children for 3.5 years. Next, I was hired as a full-time nanny for a set of twins(boy/girl). I began caring for the children when they were 4 years old in April 2012-April 2020. At the same time, I also worked part time for another family caring for children from newborn- age 7, April 2012- April 2020 in the mornings, before my afternoon full-time nanny position. Unfortunately, I had to be let go from both jobs due to the Covid epidemic. I was then hired for a full-time nanny position, which was renewed on a yearly basis, and lasted from July 2020-December 31,2023. The children both grew old enough to start Pre-School together. Thank you for reading! Lindsey

Lindsey has watched our baby a few times now including picking up from daycare once. She's easy to work with and our son seems to enjoy spending time with her

Lindsey helped us when our son had to stay home from school sick. Was attentive to his needs and went beyond expected for babysitting with cleaning and organizing house. Would contact again if babysitting needs arise.
