I am a retired educator and school administrator looking to care for a young child/infant part time. I love being with children and believe it is important to engage them in various activities that support milestone development, creativity, and exposure to reading through regular story time. Kids respond well to structure and routine. As a child caregiver, it is important to follow established routines regarding napping, eating, and playtime. Additionally, being mindful of and responsive to the needs of the child when he/she is experiencing discomfort from illness or exhibits behavior that is out of the ordinary are paramount to ensure the child's wellbeing. I am 59 years old, live in Scituate RI, hold 4 college degrees, and raised two daughters who are now adults. I have a flexible schedule and hope to partner with a family who is warm, welcoming, and expects and appreciates affectionate and caring supervision and Read more engagement with their child.
