I have many years of experience in caring for children of all ages. I student taught in a third grade classroom and completed clinicals in a first grade classroom and pre-k classrooms as well. I taught two year olds at an early learning center in Romeoville, Illinois. I have also taught toddlers and infants at a private school called Elmhurst Academy in Elmhurst, Illinois for about 5 years before moving to Arizona about three years ago. I have been babysitting for over 18 years and taught for 8 years. I now currently work for Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP), where I work with children up to three years old that have developmental delays. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am CPR and first aid certified. I also have an Arizona fingerprint clearance card.

April was amazing! We had a sitter lined up for our first date night without family watching our daughter. It was nerve-racking since I'm a stay-at-home dad and our daughter's never been left with strangers before. At the last minute our sitter canceled and we scrambled to save our night, and April stepped in to save the day! We gave her a rundown of everything and then she took it from there. Our child didn't cry when we left, was playing with April, and went down no problems! It did so much for us to know someone skilled was watching our child and allowed us a break for once!

We absolutely love April. She takes great care of our little one. From the moment she met our son she got down on the floor to engage and play with him. When I come home I typically will find her still on the floor and actively engaged. Despite his young age he is content to go to April when I have to leave, appears to be playing contentedly with her when I return, and is always a little sad to see her go. I am very happy to have met April, and am grateful we can count on her as a regular sitter. She is highly reliable and a great communicator. I highly recommend her services, and think she is a remarkable child care worker.
