Hello, everyone :) My name is Emily Anne, and I am a nanny with a myriad of passions and hobbies. Not only do I have extensive nannying experience, I also worked as a lead toddler teacher, after serving as an assistant teacher for infants in two DHS regulated daycare centers. I am comfortable teaching and nurturing children of various ages, and adept at multi-tasking to provide the highest quality care. I have always loved contributing to the budding development of children, and making a positive, lasting impact on their young lives. Working in childcare has taught me invaluable lessons that can be applied to various pursuits, and has further established my moral character. As adults, we have so much to give to children; but I've also learned they have so much to teach us in kind. Early childhood literacy is another passion of mine, as I spent several years tutoring Read more second graders in order to sharpen their reading comprehension. As an English & Creative Writing major, the power of words and reading is something I enjoy passing along whenever I'm able; in addition to fostering a child's curiosity, and indulging their sense of imagination through story-telling. I am incredibly flexible, attentive, reliable, and punctual. After planning weekly curriculum for my former students, I am open to any preferred, detailed scheduling any families may have in mind for their own household. I am up to date on my required state certifications (TN-ELDS) and always eager to learn more whenever more education is required/desired.
