Hi! I’m Hannah and I’m looking forward to meeting new families here in Southern Maryland. Quick About Me- 1.) I have a standard poodle named Luna (6 years) and two cats named Edwin (4 year) and Mabel (will be a year in October) 2.) I’m super excited for Fall to get here because I’m not a fan of summer unless I’m at the beach 3.) I love arts and crafts- my favorite right now is crocheting! I’m still a beginner but I’m convinced YouTube can teach you to do just about anything. 4.) I recently moved to Mechanicsville from Columbia, Md in July to move in with my mom (my step dad’s health is declining and I’d rather her not be lonely) so I’m still learning the area lol As a small child, I grew up in my mom’s in home daycare and began babysitting for neighborhood kids when I Read more was 11. It became only natural to progress to becoming a nanny after high school and couple semesters at Howard county community college. I’ve worked in Howard County as a part time nanny from 2011-2015 and then a full time nanny from 2015 to the present. I am experienced with infants as young as 6 weeks, toddlers, elementary and middle school ages. As a nanny I… -work hard to help you raise independent, emotionally intelligent, curious children! -regulate children’s schedules, creating a consistent balance of energetic play, nutritional snack and meal times, and restful naps -teach and perform age appropriate activities (tummy time, exploring and reading books, physical and imaginative play, arts and crafts, etc) - ensure your children’s safety by encouraging safe behaviors and using the lessons I’ve learned from my First Aid and CPR classes (have current certification that expires in 2026) -perform housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children’s care - will also care for your pups and kitties!
