We hired Sarah when our daughter was 6 months old till the time she was almost two years old. In that time, she has become an indispensable part of our family. Our daughter and her have such a strong bond we are still having frequent dinners just so they can still spend time together. Her deities included the following; Daily care of the baby – Getting her ready in the mornings, diaper changes, nap time routines Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities Feedings were originally bottle fed then she helped thought the introduction of solids and lastly was preparing meals for her on a daily basis. She would also include outdoor exploring for our daughter almost every day, walk or driving to the park or play dates. She would also drive her to and from Gymboree (baby play classes) and sit in the classes with her. As our baby got a little older, she was also in charge of bath time witch our daughter loved because she got more time to play in the tub than a later bath before bedtime would allow. When the baby was napping her duties would shift to tidying up the house, mainly baby related. Baby’s laundry – wash, day, fold and put away. Handle the dishes and any small clean ups around the house. She would also help with errands like packages to FedEx etc. Beyond childcare Sarah always approached things with care, penetrance and understanding. Throughout mealtimes Sarah was always engaged and made it fun because we all know how difficult mealtime can become with babies and toddlers. She never sat back and just watched her play or put on the TV. She was always engaged with her and always made her laugh while also setting boundaries when discipline was needed. She welcomed feedback if we wanted something done differently and would do little things like make us tea if she saw my husband or I working too much. We still welcome Sarah into our home and is the first person we call for date nights and emergency pick-ups from daycare. Our daughter asks for her when she’s not there and I can see the love she has for her and vice versa. We are grateful for her in our lives and highly recommend her to anyone looking for care.
