My name is Brittany or Britt for short. I am a New Orleans native with a love for childcare! I have loved caring for children for as long as I can remember. Growing up I can remember being the one who wanted to hold all of the babies in my family, as well as play with and read stories to the younger kids. I have over 5 years of babysitting experience ranging from infancy to elementary age. Recently, I have decided to further my passion and love for children by pursuing a long term career in it. In 2019 I began working in Labor and Delivery assisting parents who’d just delivered their babies in postpartum care. In 2021 I began working in the Newborn Nursery and Nicu screening babies for hearing loss. In 2022 I completed a Doula training program, as well as a Louisiana Community Birth Worker, and Certified Read more Breastfeeding Specialist program. I also began working in a Pediatric clinic as a Medical Assistant seeing children from infancy to adolescence. This year, 2023 I have decided to further my career even more by going back to college to major in Early Childhood Development and in the future I’d like to own my own Child Care Center. I am very eager to be assisting families with their child care needs. I take pride in not only being reliable and responsible, but also someone who does not take for granted the impact that even a short interaction can have on a child’s life.
