Hello! My name is Marisa, and I am looking for a wonderful family to support as a part-time nanny or babysitter. I have a lifelong passion for working with children and a wealth of experience to draw from. I studied early childhood education in college and worked as a Pre-K teacher before stepping away to raise my four children, who are now grown, with my youngest set to graduate high school in June. Throughout my years as a stay-at-home mom, my life has revolved around children—volunteering in my children’s classrooms, teaching young children at church, mentoring teenagers at church, and babysitting for friends. I love watching children grow in confidence, independence, and creativity. My approach is rooted in play-based learning, which, I believe, inspires curiosity and critical thinking. I enjoy guiding children through open-ended projects that encourage discovery and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.
