I love infants and i want to be a mother myself. I grew up watching over children for free and i currently work at a daycare and i love the kids there. i work with autistic (verbal and non-verbal) children, i know little simple sign languages at least enough to know what they want, need, or feel. i have currently worked with up to 6 autistic kids in one room with most having anger issues. i work just fine with them i just need to know the basics!:) (what they enjoy, dislike, like, LOVE, and what keeps them calm.) i honestly believe the most important thing about care taking is keeping the child safe and healthy. knowing allergies and what they enjoy and what helps them sleep better and even helping them understand whats right and whats wrong is the most important. listening and communicating with both the guardian and Read more the child is the most important part of any care-taking job.
