I have always loved working with children, and my passion for caregiving started early, growing up in a large family where I helped care for my siblings and cousins. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience supporting children in both educational and behavioral settings. I have three years of experience as a literacy tutor for elementary students, helping them build confidence in their reading skills. I also spent two years as an early learning instructor, teaching pre-kindergarten classes for children ages 0-5. Additionally, I worked as a behavior support specialist in a transitional kindergarten (TK) class, where I provided individualized support for students with diverse needs. My role as an afterschool program lead for two years further strengthened my ability to create engaging, structured, and fun learning environments. I have completed coursework in child development, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, and applied behavior analysis (ABA), equipping me with a strong foundation Read more in understanding children's needs. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in school psychology, deepening my expertise in child development, learning strategies, and behavioral support. With my background in education, behavior support, and child development, I bring patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to caregiving. I love being a sitter because it allows me to foster meaningful connections with children while supporting their growth and development.
