Hello! My name is Erin and I currently work part-time as an educator for the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens. Last year I graduated with a B.S. in environmental science. I spent my summers as a sea kayak guide and marine educator for youth field trips. Now, I work around children of all ages and backgrounds while at the zoo. I love how curious children are of the natural world! When I was in highschool, I babysat for neighbors frequently and then in college I also would occasionally babysit using Care.com. I love the outdoors, cooking, reading, and definitely love animals! I am certified in CPR and also Wilderness First Aid (super cool class that I recommend to nature lovers!) I am also a musician and can help with any youngsters playing guitar. For school-aged kids, I can definitely assist in tutoring or homework help too. I am available most Mondays, Read more Wednesdays and Sundays but I am willing to work with my zoo schedule to fit the needs of the right family!
