My name is Tshepiso and I am a passionate and experienced caregiver with a strong background in childcare. Over the past several years, I have gained extensive experience working with children of various ages, including serving as a preschool teacher, a live-in nanny, and an au pair. My journey began when I started teaching at a preschool, where I discovered my love for fostering children’s growth and development through creative and engaging activities. Later, I expanded my expertise by volunteering at preschools and children’s ministries, further solidifying my commitment to nurturing young minds. In February 2022, I embarked on a new chapter as an au pair in the United States, a role that allowed me to immerse myself in childcare while gaining valuable cross-cultural experience. Living with families and providing full-time care for children gave me invaluable insights into their developmental needs and strengthened my ability to connect with them Read more on a personal level. During this time, I also completed a certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) through Bridge Education TEFL Group USA, equipping me with the skills to support children’s language development. I also hold a degree in Financial Science, which has given me a unique perspective on managing resources and planning for sustainable growth that I aim to integrate into my future Montessori school. Additionally, I have successfully owned and operated a farm, an experience that taught me patience, resourcefulness, and the importance of instilling practical life skills in children, such as farming and sustainability. Why I Became a Caregiver I became a caregiver because I have always felt a deep calling to nurture and guide children. From a young age, I was drawn to the joy and wonder that children bring to the world, and I knew I wanted to be part of their journey. My early experiences volunteering for children charity work and teaching in community settings reinforced my passion for making a positive impact in their lives. Why I Love My Job What I love most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to witness and contribute to a child growth and development. Each day brings new challenges and milestones, and I find immense joy in seeing children learn, explore, and gain confidence in their abilities. There is something incredibly fulfilling about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel valued and encouraged.
