I love working with kids, teaching them new things, and helping them explore and be creative. I have experience working as a babysitter for many years. I started at age 12, I have two younger siblings (twins, we're 10 years apart), and have babysat for other family members, family friends, and even a former teacher. I have experience working with kids with different disabilities such as autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, dyslexia, speech delay/speech impediments, and learning disabilities. I can do first aid, and have been trained in CPR but I do need to get certified again, which im currently working on. I am a college student but I’m able to work some afternoons, and most evenings, nights, and weekends. I’m good with pets as well, I own a dog myself and live with another dog and two cats. I also have experience caring for fish, reptiles, and rodents, they Read more don’t bother or scare me. I can change diapers and help potty train. I like coming up with fun activities and crafts for kids to do. I can help with homework too. Overall I’m easy going and like to have fun and keep kids engaged, although I can be serious when it is needed. I work best with aged infant to about 10 years old. I can work with older kids too, although I don’t really know what pre teens and teenagers consider “cool” anymore, but I get along with them just fine. I’m looking to expand my experience and get back into babysitting. I do hope to get a job at either a daycare or working with kids in the near future.
