Since I was little I knew I had a passion for kids. My older brother has autism so at the time I knew I had to act like the big sister in certain situations, even though I was obviously younger. That moment when I know of his disability I vowed to be compassionate, patient and loving to everyone. In middle school my oldest brother had a baby and I was extremlely happy to become an aunt. I took care of him since he was a newborn very often while my family would be at work. In high school I got the opportunity to become a youth leader for a local church organization, which was a lot of fun since we got to stay at an overnight camp for a week at the end of the academic school year. In high school I got the chance to work with a couple Read more of families and it was incredible. Fortunately, I now work in a gym’s Child Care where I get to constantly be with children from 6 weeks to 10 years old.
