Hello, my name is Chassidy Foote! I am a 25 year old female. I am a mother to one adopted son, Greyson, who is 18months old. I am currently a stay at home mom. I am using Sitter as a way to make a little extra money and get out of the house. I have over 10 years experience in child care. At the age of 14 I started babysitting every day after school. I babysat for twins aged 2 and a baby under 1. I have experience with special needs children. One of the children I babysat for over 6 years was deaf and had a cochlear implant done. I also have experience with autistic children, both babies and children. I have watched as many as 4 children at a time. I was previously a nanny for over a year until my husband and I moved. She failed to even show up for her interview - twice. Before the second time, I specifically asked her to just let me know in advance if she wasn't going to come. This is because my 5-year-old gets so excited to meet new potential babysitters, and when one is scheduled to come and then never shows up she gets so disappointed, and we end up having to change our schedule to be home and meet them (and them wait for them). Chassidy said that she would let me know if she couldn't come, and then she just never showed up - and never sent me another message. Good communication is essential for a babysitter. If I can't even trust someone to have the courtesy of telling me when they're not going to show up for their interview, I can't imagine that they would be good at communicating with an employer.
