Hi there! I'm Yan. I recently earned my degree in Human Developmental Science from UC San Diego and am pursuing my doctorate degree in Health Service Psychology. I am a CPR, AED, and First Aid certified sitter and have been caring for children for 8 years. I have extensive experience working with infants, toddlers, early school-age children, and pre-teens. I also have 4 years of experience working with children who have special needs and children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and ODD (ages 2 - 11). Further, I previously worked as a behavior therapist offering parent training and support and personalized in-home therapy to children ages 2 - 8. I am punctual, kind, reliable, fun, attentive, and patient. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as a unique individual who I get to help grow and teach.

Yan arrived on-time and was immediately attentive. She took great care of our 2 toddlers during the evening. I'm glad she was available and would hire her again in the future.

Yan babysat our 9month old infant while we attended a music festival. It was our first time using the app and having someone outside our family/friend group watching our child (aside from daycare). We were impressed by how responsive and professional Yan was. She put us at ease and our son seemed to thoroughly enjoy his time with all the updates (text pics and videos) we received during the time. I would highly recommend her and if we're ever in Houston again, we wouldn't hesitate to hire her. She was on time, reliable, and flexible!
