Hi there! I'm Yan. I recently earned my degree in Human Developmental Science from UC San Diego and am pursuing my doctorate degree in Health Service Psychology. My motivation is to help improve the behavioral and social-emotional functioning of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and children who struggle with disruptive behavior, disobedience, and aggression. I have been caring for children for 8 years as a babysitter and have extensive experience working with toddlers and early school-age children. Yan babysat our 9month old infant while we attended a music festival. It was our first time using the app and having someone outside our family/friend group watching our child (aside from daycare). We were impressed by how responsive and professional Yan was. She put us at ease and our son seemed to thoroughly enjoy his time with all the updates (text pics and videos) we received during the time. I would highly recommend her and if we're ever in Houston again, we wouldn't hesitate to hire her. She was on time, reliable, and flexible!
