Emy babysat my two little ones last night and we all couldn't be more pleased. My husband and I haven't had many non-family members watch our older girl, and this was the first time anyone other than one of our moms watched the baby, but any apprehensions we may have had were quickly dispelled. Our three year old loved playing, doing arts and crafts, and blowing bubbles with Emy. She didn't want her to leave! Emy also got our infant to sleep, which I was very impressed with, because even I most of the time have trouble with that. We will definitely call on Emy the next time we want to go on a date. Emy is absolutely amazing. We were in DC for a few days, staying with my in-laws, and Emy came to take care of my three children. The minute she walked in my kids took to her. She was fun, responsible, flexible and super helpful. Things were a bit chaotic when she arrived, but she handled it all calmly and responsibly. She took my kids to the park, made them lunch and dinner, played with them, and cleaned up. It's hard to find someone who the kids love but who also leaves the house in an organized state - Emy did both. If we lived here, I would ask her to work for us permanently! I recommend Emy full-heartedly.

First off, Emy is a total rockstar babysitter, my kids LOVED her and so did I. Emy stayed with my boys (9 yo and 6 yo) for two nights (October 27 & 28). She is hands on- meaning that she dove right in and played games, LEGOs, etc. She was a great listener- my boys remarked that she was easy to talk to and Emy told me some of the funny things that they talked about. She was mindful of their schedule and had them brushed and to bed on time. She was a complete delight to have over- I will definitely be hiring her again!

My daughter, who is 10, wants us to go out on date night so "Miss Emy" can come and play with her. Emy is polite, punctual, fun to play with, and good at following the house rules. She is a kind but firm disciplinarian. She is educated and intelligent, and she is kind and caring. She has baby sat for us now for a few years, and we love her. She is always available, always smiling, and very reliable. She takes our daughter to school functions and we feel well represented. She is also great with supervising a few kids together for a play date. I often ask her to drive my daughter to different events; she is very good with directions, and an excellent driver. Emy has watched my two boys, 8 and 5, recently and I will definitely be calling her again! She was very prompt and clear in her communication and was flexible with our late night. She arrived on time and immediately engaged with the boys so we could finish getting ready to go out. She was very warm and fun and the boys had a great time playing games and jumping on the trampoline with her. She had them fed and in bed on time and exceeded our expectations for quality care. Emy babysat our 4 year old son today for the first time. They had a great time together playing outside, playing Nintendo Wii and other games, and Lego's together. We felt very comfortable with her watching him, and he also took to her fast. We definitely will have her babysit for us in the future!!

I was going to be in the DC/VA area for a family wedding and wasn't sure how I felt about finding someone online that I would trust with my daughter. Turns out it was a great decision. From the time Emy met me at the hotel the first night I was very comfortable and knew my six month old daughter would be well taken care of. She was great with her and the night of the wedding I wasn't constantly worried about how things were going. I was able to enjoy the reception with my husband and family. Thanks Emy for really making my weekend stress free!

Emmy is great! She is my go-to babysitter now! Could not ask for a better babysitter. My kids love her !

We have decided to call Emy for sitting from now on. She recently helped me with my Daughter's birthday party, and it was a great success! Several little girls, in a park.... without chaos! The game involved solving a mystery via clues, and she was able to help the children figure out the clues without deterring from using their own logic to solve the mystery! The children loved her! I look forward to calling her for another "mommy's night out" in the near future.

By far, Emy is the BEST babysitter we have ever had! We interviewed several people and our kids liked Emy the most. She played games with them and took them outside to play. Also it was the first time we have stayed out late past our children's bedtime, and she made sure they went to bed on time. And comforted our youngest at bedtime, since he was not used to us being gone late. We are so lucky to have found Emy!

I was very hesitant to hire a sitter off of a website. Emy made me feel at ease and my girls ages 4 & 2 loved her. She was gentle, played games with them and put them to bed without any issues. I will use Emy in the future, as my girls have been asking about daily! Even my to year old, who does not do well with strangers took to Emy well. Emy is honest and reliable and send me pics of the kids as they were doing activities. It was the best! Thank you Emy!

Emy was great with our son. We have had prolems finding just the right sitter for him. He is non verbal autistic and he did great with her. I beleive they had alot of fun as he was a happy guy when we got home. We will definatley use her again! Thank you again Emy!

Emy is absolutely wonderful, and genuinely loves children! She really works with you so she can be where you need her, regardless if it may be short notice. My kids love her, and ask about Emy on a daily basis. She is very sweet, reliable, and trustworthy. I'm extremely happy with the care that Emy provides, and she will continue to be my first choice. :)

Emy came into my house for the first time and. made my 11 yr old and 13 yr old very comfortable. She was extremely professional, we felt comfortable going out. It was obvious when we got home our comfort was very well placed. She kept the kids busy with card games, they baked and, looked up how to do a fish braid on the internet for my daughter. She was able to keep both of them entertained for 5 hours. My son did not watch TV or play video games, which is amazing. I would highly recommend Emy. Rochelle

Emy babysat our three kids for the first time recently, ages 5, 3 and 10 months. The kids all enjoyed her company, she played nicely with them and even our 5 year old, who takes a long time to warm up to people, quickly was talking and playing with her just a few minutes after meeting her. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!

Emy is wonderful! She babysat my 20-month-old daughter for the day when our daycare was closed. Although my daughter usually has difficulty with a new babysitter, Emy quickly made her at ease so that my daughter didn't even cry when I left. Emy showed up on time and did a great job of following all of my instructions about meals, naps, and playtime. She even sent me an update during the day with a cute photo to let me know everything was going well. I will definitely use Emy again and recommend her as a reliable and caring babysitter.

Emy was great with our 3 year old son. She was early and engaged him right away. She took him to the playground, to the pool, and played with him at home. When she left my son said, "I had fun with Emy!". We will certainly be using her again!

We are very happy to have Emy, and the kids love her. My wife and I found her on this site for date nights and she is always prompt and extremely courteous. Our four and three year old can be a handful to the uninitiated, but she warmed right up to them and they always look forward to seeing her. They play games, play outside, read stories, and I'm pretty sure she manages to put them to bed with less fuss than we do. She's great!

Emy was great with my 3 kids ... from keeping my 3 YO son entertained, to schlepping my 9 & 7 YO daughters to / from their friend's house for movie night. She was prompt. Quick to communicate via email and text message. She even cleaned the kitchen. I felt comfortable leaving my kids with her - even when I came home FAR later than I anticipated. My kids look forward to having her come back soon.

First time we have gotten a babysitter outside of the family in years and we definitely lucked out! Emy was awesome with our 2 boys ages 2 and 11! She got the 11 yr old off to school on time and kept our little man engaged and happy all day! (Not easy tasks by any means) What was supposed to be a 7-8 hr day turned into nearly 12 and she was very understanding and flexible. WHAT A RELIEF! Arrived on time (even though it was super early) and had no issues getting to know the kids! Will certainly be calling her again if needed!

Emy is excellent from start to finish. Best I can say is we will be using her again and again and again.

Emy was great with my three kids. She is a true professional, and her experience with and enthusiasm for children shines through. She knew just how to keep my 2-year-old from crying when we left, how to entertain my 7-year-old, and how to make my 10-year-old think that it was "cool" to have a babysitter (despite protests before Emy arrived that he was too old for a babysitter). Emy babysat for us twice, and my kids are begging us to go out more so she can come again. We would not hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to others.

Emy came and baby sat our daughters ages 5 and 9 for a couple of hours this past weekend. When the time came for it to end my girls did not want her go. They had a great time.

I am so glad to have found Emy. I needed care for my son at the last minute and Emy saved the day. My 12 month old went calmly to Emy and he has always been very upset about the idea of me leaving him -he cries all day and refuses to eat when my husband watches him. Emy kept my boy for about 6 hours while I attended a workshop. She recognized Maximus' personality and allowed him to explore, she got him to have fun outside, she got him to eat, she got him to take a nap all without me. I am sure any parent who hires Emy will find her a breath of fresh air for help.
