I am an Early Childhood Teacher who has been caring for and educating young children since 2011. I started babysitting as soon as I could as a teenager and started working in a 2 year old classroom at a local daycare center when I was in high school. I continued to work with young children in different roles, including as a nanny while I worked on getting my degree in Early Childhood Education and my teaching certificate. I taught in the public school system in Maryland (Kindergarten and Pre-K) for 2.5 years before deciding to pursue other options. I have primarily taught Pre-K the last several years, including working in Head Start under two different non-profit organizations as the lead teacher. I have experience with children with special needs including autism and different behavior needs.
