I have always loved taking care of kids. I became a camp counselor for a Girl Scout camp when I was 11 years old and continued to do it every summer until I was 17. I also was a babysitter for a few different families. One when I was 13, taking care of a 6 year old girl while her mom was at work for the summer and another when I was 16 taking care of a 11 year old girl and 7 year old twins, one boy and one girl. In addition to babysitting, my first job was as a shop worker in a toy store called Mudpuddles Toys and Books and I worked there for about three years interacting with both kinds and their families.
