I am the proud mom of two sons who are 18 and 20, living in Medford, NJ. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with them and have play dates, take day trips…It was awesome!. When my youngest started Kindergarten, I began volunteering nonstop (pta president and room mom coordinator to name a few positions). I missed seeing my boys every day so I also started substitute teaching at school that year. As our school was building an extended preschool program, I took on a full time teacher’s assistant role in Prek 4. To this day they are all “my kids”. I’m lucky to have forged strong relationships with families and students that continue to this day. I was there for 11 years. As my sons began their journeys preparing for college, they really needed my help with achieving their college goals so I took off for Read more about 6 months. However I missed my students! I began and am currently working in an elementary school as a building based substitute which I really enjoy. However, we will be empty nesters and I’m not looking forward to that! I’m hoping to find an opportunity that will be fulfilling just as raising my own boys. I am hoping to connect with a family that I can build a relationship with and care for. As the oldest sister and having babysitting jobs since grade school, I took those experiences and it certainly helped me to be a first time mom. I am happy to cook, clean, run errands etc. I received a bachelors degree in Food Science and love cooking for family and friends. I am dog friendly with any breed. I have a mini golden doodle named Cooper but I’ve been around my friends’ larger breeds and feel very comfortable taking them out or for a walk when they need help in a pinch. I also would be happy to provide senior care. My grandparents raised me and I wouldn’t be who I am today. I have the utmost respect and admiration for our elders. I am a nurturer by nature and don’t know anything more gratifying then helping people.
