Hi! My name is Dannika, l've been a nanny for 6+ years. Currently I nanny for my sister, her kids are 9 & 12. I've been helping her raise them since they were toddlers, while also having other nanny jobs with other families. Starting May 23rd I wont be caring for my niece and nephew and my schedule will completely open up! More recently I was a nanny for a baby girl. I started with her family when she was 4 months old up until she was 2 1/2 when they moved. We would go on walks, do age appropriate art activities, trips to the library for story/playtime and to also check out books to learn from. Playing at the park is a must, we loved chalk art, painting under the trees, having a picnic and also going on color walks! I would let Annie choose a color we would Read more focus on during our walk and have her point out and name all the things we found with whatever color we chose! It was so fun and she loved it. Dance parties in the kitchen or front room to the Moana soundtrack was apart of our daily routine. I love coming up with fun healthy meals and snacks. Our family moved so I could attend school for my masters degree. We were looking for someone to babysit our 3-month-old while I was in school and my husband worked. We worried about finding someone we could trust in a city qwhere we were brand new, but were absolutely blessed and thrilled to find Dannika! I wanted to take a minute to address her many attributes as a professional and person. The type of care Dannika provided for our daughter from the time she was 3-months-old to her toddler era was absolutely superb. Dannika took her on outings to local parks, the library, and on regular walks. They did art projects at home which resulted in adorable painted rocks, canvas paintings, and paper crafts that made us feel like she was coming home from school. They spent lots of time outside and reading books, which was perfect for us because we find it so important that she not be inundated with screen time. Dannika’s communication skills are reliable and timely. This is perfect for parents who want regular updates on their kid, with texts outlining important information about her eating, sleeping, and potty habits during the day. We received so many sweet pictures that assured us that she was having a great day! She also was wonderfully flexible with her time and had the ability to pick up our daughter if we ever needed it. Dannika is entirely trustworthy and professional and we could not more highly recommend her for any endeavor she might pursue.
