Hello! My name is Francisca, I am an art teacher and I love to work with children, especially to help them develop their  creativity and organizational skills. I am 45 years old, but I  started babysitting since I was in high school; that's one of the  reasons I decided to be a teacher. Once I graduated with a Bachelors in  Arts Education I began teaching private art classes for children's  while babysitting them in my off time. I came from Chile to live in  Washington D.C. on January 2012 looking for new opportunities in my field. I started off as an intern at the Art museum of the  American States. When I finished my internship I started babysitting  full time until I applied for a full time job at an Embassy where I worked until January 2023. Since 2012 I've had many babysitting jobs, raging from ages of 5 months to  15 years old, also a 24 year old Read more with special needs. My style of babysitting is very hands on and interactive. I prefer not to have children watch  TV the entire time I care for them. I try to play with them, read,  exercise and if they enjoy Art I will work with them to explore their artistic side. I also offer Face painting and art activities for events. Most importantly, I can guarantee your kids will be in good hands and will have fun!
