A year ago my family and I moved to NC and I have achieved a life long goal of being an Early Education Teacher. I am certified as a lead teacher and qualified as a caretaker in NC (DCDEE). I have a Bachelor's degree with minors in English and Psychology. I have extensively studied mental health disorders and childhood cognitive development. I began working in child care over two decades ago and have worked with children of all ages. I have experience with children having ADHD, ASD, OCD, Tourette Syndrome, Fragile X, Celiac, allergies, and other physical and emotional special needs. I am currently a full-time teacher for infants and toddlers 12-18 months of age. I care for every child based on their cognitive and physical developmental stage. I work to support parents routines and collaborate to make transitions as seamless as possible.
