I was in the process of hiring a nanny and met Megan, I spent about 2 hours with her in a Starbucks and she seemed very passionate and said all the right things. Because the interview went well I scheduled a day of in home meet and greet with her. Well, the morning of there was some sort of mishap between her spouse and her with the car so she cancelled via text. Me thinking "things do happen" I called to re-schedule her the next day. Megan confirmed the time and said she would be here in the morning. Well, once again no call no show, I called simply to make sure she was safe and nothing had happened. I received no call back, no response to a text either. Feeling quite disappointed as a mom searching for a Nanny is hard, people applying for this precious job should be mindful of that. To not even bother to call to state either lack of interest or cancel in general is simply a clear lack of care. Disappointed.
