I provide quality care, and I'm very interactive! I am a no screen-time caregiver, especially before a year old. I believe learning begins at birth, and love to teach and read to children of all ages. Taking walks and playing/swinging at a nearby park are my favorite outdoor activities with kiddos (weather permitting). •• Infant care is something that comes most naturally to me, but I have taken care of children of all ages, in addition to successfully raising and homeschooling my own. Newborn to four months old is my favorite stage in an infant's life! •• I have a dependable vehicle with a valid driver's license and nearly spotless driving record. I am child and infant CPR + First-aid certified. I am reliable, attentive, dedicated, fun, respectful, honest, trustworthy, communicative, knowledgeable, prompt, and positive. •• I hold a Public Trust Clearance, in addition to being cleared in three states, Read more and my last background clearance was on 7/19/24 for my current job; I am willing to provide confirmation of each upon request. •• I was a dedicated nanny to a wonderful baby boy from early August 2023 until late May 2024; this was a temporary full-time position while the family prepared to move out-of-state. In September, I began babysitting a darling toddler girl one to two times a week; I cared for her until the nanny family's needs increased in December. The baby's family wanted me to move with them to be their live-in nanny, and the toddler's mom expressed interest in hiring me full-time. •• As the majority of my experience comes from caring for friends' kids of varying ages here and there in my adult life (unpaid), those nanny and sitter jobs were my first professional childcare roles. Presently, I babysit a friend's five year old daughter on occasion. **I'm at my best when caring for only one child at a time. **I am looking to start in January 2025, part-time or full-time; until then, I'm open to one-time or as-needed care (on one weekend day only). **Part- and full-time time hours will include child's laundry and dishes, and tidying up areas used during my shift. **As distance is important to families and caregivers alike, I am available up to 20 miles from the Enchanted Hills area (Rio Rancho).
