I have been caring for children since I was 18 years old and it is truly a passion. I have experience with babies, toddlers, adolescents, and pre-teens alike. I pride myself for the close relationships I develop with all of the families I am fortunate enough to work with. I have most recently nannied long-term with a family whose children were 18 months and 3 years old. The youngest is now 4 and moving on to kindergarten. I am currently looking for a full time (35-40 hours) placement with a loving, open minded family who is looking for a dedicated caretaker. I am an energetic, positive, and creative person. I love to involve kids in fun activities like playing board games, swimming & other sports, reading, and especially doing arts & crafts. I also value structure & stability and offer kind but firm direction. I love to help children learn Read more and grow into emotionally aware young people and have the patience to cultivate their confidence. I have taught many little ones to read and can assist in education and enrichment at most grade levels. I adore babies and watching them grow day by day.

Did they follow your rules and enforce them with your children?: Of course! She was better at enforcing than me. What did you like most about this person?: So smart! So loving. So helpful! Always tried to be there for me bc I am a single mom. Was there anything you disliked about the job they did?: I hate the fact that my kids got to old! I could have used her the last 10 years! Would you recommend this person for a childcare position?: YES! Sarah is so loving and delicious. She taught my daughter how to crochet when she’s was 3! She loved reading with them. She was a second mom. She is so compassionate. She was dealing with 3 year old twins (b/g). She was a lifesaver. Hire this woman!

Sarah really has a wonderful ability to connect with kids. They would be excited for her to come because she would bring fun and enriching activities. She was loving but could be firm and set limits when needed. She is a great personality and has a solid understanding of child developmental stages. I always felt my kids were safe, learning, and feeling loved when they were with Sarah.

I am writing to highly recommend Sarah Montes as a professional nanny. Sarah has been an invaluable part of our family for the past three years, starting when our children were just 1 and 3 years old. As our children have grown and are now ready to attend school, we no longer require her full-time services, but we are confident that she will be a wonderful addition to any family. Sarah has consistently demonstrated exceptional reliability and punctuality, always arriving early each day without fail. Her dependability has been a great comfort to us, and her proactive communication ensured that we were never caught off guard by any schedule changes or sick days. Even when our children were ill, Sarah was there to provide care and support, ensuring they felt comforted and attended to. Safety has always been a top priority for Sarah. Whether it was pool safety, car safety, or general day-to-day activities, she maintained a vigilant and conscientious approach to ensure our children's well-being. Sarah is also a safe and reliable driver, which was crucial for transporting our kids to various activities, both recreational and educational. Sarah's ability to engage our children in fun, creative and educational activities has been remarkable. She established a variety of art and science projects that captivated their interests and fostered their curiosity. Thanks to her dedication to educational enrichment, both of our children were reading before the age of four. Additionally, she played a significant role in potty training and managing the big emotions that come with early childhood. One of Sarah's standout qualities is her strong communication. The open and honest dialogue between my husband, Sarah, and myself made for a seamless and trusting relationship. We always felt informed and involved in our children's daily routines and milestones. Sarah's ability to get our children outdoors and active was another aspect we greatly appreciated. She ensured they spent ample time outside, engaging in various activities that promoted physical health and exploration of the world around them. All the while, her focus on safety during these outdoor activities gave us peace of mind. Sarah truly became an extension of our family. Her energetic attitude, coupled with her professional skills, created an environment where our children felt loved and supported and also had a lot of fun! As we transition to this new chapter, we know Sarah will be deeply missed, but we also know she will bring the same level of dedication and care to her next family. It is with great confidence that I recommend Sarah. She has been an exceptional caregiver and a wonderful presence in our home.
