Hello! My name is Briseida, and I’m currently a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Pediatrics at UCI. My work focuses on neurodevelopment assessments and measurements, which has given me valuable experience in working closely with children. Over the years, I’ve learned how to connect with kids by being playful, creative, and imaginative. Whether it’s coming up with fun games, engaging activities, or crafts, I love creating a positive, active, and healthy environment tailored to each child’s needs. I also understand that kids are often full of energy, and I’m more than happy to match that enthusiasm to keep them engaged and entertained. At the same time, I value moments where we can slow down, focus, and work on areas of improvement. Before my current role, I spent two years in undergrad tutoring and mentoring elementary students, so I’m comfortable helping with academic subjects (including Spanish) and even navigating Read more challenges beyond schoolwork. On a personal level, being an aunt to four nieces and nephews under 10 has taught me that children often need more than just academic help—they need emotional support and guidance to work through friendships, teamwork, or other social situations. My goal is always to prioritize their feelings and emotions, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and happy. I’m actively looking for a part-time opportunity like this to help save for grad school. My work schedule is flexible, so we can hopefully find a plan that works for everyone. I hope my blend of professional and personal experience resonates with you, and I’d love the opportunity to create a positive and enjoyable experience for your child and peace of mind for you. Thank you!
