Other than raising my own children and helping raise my neice and nephews, I worked for the VNA in Massachusetts caring for the elderly. I helped them with their daily activities such as housekeeping, showering, shopping, and medication reminders, as well as transporting them to appointments. After moving to CT and cari g for my grandfather and mother-in-law until their passing, I started working at the Children's Hospital in Hartford. I worked with children at their most vulnerable. I was known as the baby whisperer on the floor. There wasn't a baby I couldn't console. After leaving the hospital after 8 years of overnight shifts I decided to go out on my own to make a difference in children's homes. My first client was one of my children from CCMC, he was 1 when I met him and he will be 16 in January. I have learned alot of medical Read more care working with this client. From there I began building a business by word of mouth. I have worked with many families until their children have aged out. I love watching children play, learn and grow. I remember how difficult it was raising my children and only wish I had a couple of extra hands around to help. I hope to have the opportunity to be a part of your village.
