My name is Lizzy Denny and I'm a 27-year-old living in South Pasadena, California. I have my own transportation (Subaru Outback) and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana where I majored in Languages (French, Chinese, Spanish, and Dutch) and minored in Women's Studies. I've worked with children in all facets of life: as a director of after school enrichment, a world languages teacher, a nanny, and a school social worker. I love to do arts and crafts, play outside, and I absolutely love animals (I live with my adorable dog, Buddha, and my sweet cat, Bug. I am beginning night classes for my graduate degree in January to get a degree in Public Policy. I have not yet planned my classes but I am flexible for the days of the week I work and I will be available on weekends. Lizzy is a wonderful sitter. She watched my two boys regularly for 4 years, starting at ages 3 and 5, and she was always engaging, upbeat, creative, and consistent. She has fun with kids but also respects the rules. She has dealt with medical emergencies, multiple school pickups, after school activities, etc. Lizzy also really “gets” my kids which I can’t say about every sitter I’ve had. She is top notch and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
