Babysitting was my first job at age thirteen. I babysat for OBGYN residents' kids, since my mom worked in Labor and Delivery at the local hospital. Since the majority of residents are out of state, they don't have access to family members. I started offering my services to assist with last minute date night or just as a fun companion to their kids. Soon, my services became in high demand. I was babysitting 3 to 4 times a week. I became CPR certified, since some of the families I helped added some additional kiddos to the family tree. I transitioned from this role into my longest and most current role - Staff Assistant for Mortgage Underwriters. I realized that corporate America isn't for me. I recently retired and started working at Cokesbury Preschool. Currently, I work with adorable toddlers. It's helped me reacclimate to little people and getting use to Read more changing diapers again. Helping toddlers navigate the world is one of the best personal experiences. Additionally, I love the unlimited hugs from them. It makes every moment worthwhile. Recently, I became recertified in Child/Infant/Adult CPR AED options. I am fully ready to be the safety and love needed for your little one(s) so you focus on your duties as needed. I am open to meeting beforehand to ensure I am the right fit.
