Hi future family! My name is Marhyah. I am sure you will come across several profiles of individuals I am sure can provide the basics of your need. With me I come with a little more. I am not just a caretaker to your family but a role model, a mentor, an extension of you when you are not there. I genuinely care about every single child and their family whether it is meeting them at a public park or getting paid for it. I am a certified Recreational Therapist in which it is second nature to assess the wholistic needs of each child and set goals to help them become the best versions of themselves. Having 2 elementary age children, 3 years of elementary school teaching experience, and being involved in youth events I know how to deescalate emotional outburst and speak to children as people. I give a Read more balance of autonomy and supervision, education and fun, and always align a child's age to what milestones they should have mastered. I run a business called “Need -A- Break” where I do just as it sounds- provide a break! From child care, elder care, or simply for a breath of fresh air! My aim is to not just watch your child but to teach safe social interaction skills, teamwork amongst the community, and of course to have FUN!
