A Baruch Alum with 9 years of experience in childcare. I have extensive experience working with toddlers and children, especially with ages 2 to 12. I spent 6 wonderful years in my hometown as a camp counselor in the Great Neck School District. I also had the amazing opportunity to be an early literacy specialist for the Parent-Child Home program, an international network of program sites that provides low-income families with the necessary skills and tools to ensure their children thrive. Lastly, I spent a fun year working at a daycare, taking care of infants ages 6 to 18 months. I’m fluently bilingual in English and Spanish. We searched 3 long months to find a nanny for our son, who was 4 months at the time. He is our first born, so we were a bit nervous about having someone else take care of our baby, and also unsure how to know who would be a right fit for our family. After several interviews and trial dates with other nannies, we finally found Freda. We have been working with Freda for 3 months now, and our family couldn't be happier.
