Hi, I am a senior at UC Davis majoring in Psychology and hoping to become an occupational therapist. I have always loved working with children and have experience. I have babysat for multiple families in the Sacramento area over the years, ranging in age and frequency. I also coached gymnastics for children 18 months to 15 years old, so I understand the need to watch with an eagle eye while also letting littles explore their environment. I have done previous background checks and training through USA Gymnastics SAFESPORT as well as for volunteering at a pediatric occupational therapy clinic, and I would be happy to provide proof if needed. I am trained in adult/child/infant CPR and first aid but am not currently certified (totally willing, especially for a longer job, to get recertified if that makes you feel more comfortable). I am not able to start till June 16th because Read more I graduate on the 14th, but after that, I am good to go for the summer. The only possible vacation times I might be unavailable is around the 4th of July if the family locks down any plans and then for sure early August for a graduation trip. I also know that you might be looking very long term, so I want to disclose that I have to take one more class starting late August on Tuesday/ Thursday 8 am - 1 pm, which would change my availability. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to hearing back from you if you think I may be a good fit!
