Hi, my name is Kaitlyn! A little bit about myself: I graduated with my undergraduate degree in pre-professional biology in 2023. I am currently working on my MBA in health care administration online and will be finished in August. During my five years of undergraduate and master’s studies, I played collegiate soccer and served as the graduate assistant for the college of business, where I developed and managed their social media pages. In my free time, I am very active; I still play soccer when I can, I love to read, hike, ski, and travel when the opportunity presents itself. Down the road, I aspire to go to PA school to continue to care for people. I have been passionate about working with children since I was 13 years old. I have extensive experience caring for kids of all ages, from babies to middle schoolers, in various setting including in-home, Read more daycare, and school environments. I began babysitting because I love children, and some of my earliest memories involve watching kids. In 5th grade, I gave up my own recess time to be a “junior monitor” for the kindergartners. Growing up, I also cared for my two younger sibling while my parents were at work and other events. As the oldest of nine cousins, I have gained a wealth of experience from my family as well. Although my CPR certification has expired, I am happily willing to renew it if required. I am comfortable with pets as long as they are well-behaved. Working in a daycare required training in keeping kids safe, maintaining sanitary areas, and other essential childcare skills. From this daycare job, I gained the trust of families, who then requested my babysitting care outside of the daycare.
