I have worked with children 2 months through 5 years of age for 31 years . I was a Director of childcare centers for over 20 years the largest center held 170 children so I have comforted many children and I am well versed in child development. I am a very positive individual I believe children learn by example and that positive discipline is the way children learn . I did mention fun yes I did. I love being a hands on person. I enjoy providing fun engaging activities to the children in my care such as let's get messy ! Examples : messy art activities, sensory activities , gross motor and fine motor activities examples: painting, cooking activities ,storytime, freeplay with supervision , outdoor walks , ball playing , music ect . The key is to stimulate but not to over stimulate as we want a enjoyable fun experience . The main goal for any child is to have fun in a loving environment where the child feels safe and can trust in the world around them . I live in Scotrun, PA I lost my job due to Covid and I relocated. I am looking for part time work. My fee per hour is $20.00 to 25.00 hour . I am open to occassional work as well. An example someone is at great wolf and is looking for a sitter I might be interested to do it for a day or a few days . I do not drive so I can take jobs that are not far from Scotrun, PA 18355 area . You won't be sorry and your child will love me . I have a great sense of humor and would be alot of fun ! I also raised my own family they are grown up now 2 young ladies and a young man that I am very proud of ! That is where my experience with all age groups was earned. My children are my world I love being a mom. I have a Child Development Associate - Pre K level I have held it for many years . I might not renew it to be honest as I do not intend to work in childcare centers any longer .
